Christophe Schwoertzig is a C-level advisor and Managing Director of Value Creation – Alternative (VC-A), with more than 20 years of international experience in M&A, fundraising, digital transformation, and strategy consulting.
He began his career at an IBM agency, Accenture and Capgemini Ernst & Young (CGEY), where he led post-merger integration and transformation projects, including the Credit Suisse / First Boston merger and the turnaround of CGEY UK&I. He later advised leading corporations and institutions such as NYSE Euronext, Fergo Aisa Construction, Investec, Scotland Yard, la Bourse du Luxembourg, and NH Hotels.
As the founding partner of Value Creation – Alternative, Christophe built a global network of 1,200+ senior professionals and 35,000+ contacts, collectively advising on more than US$100 billion in M&A and fundraising transactions. VC-A combines independent agility with institutional-grade infrastructure, including regulated fund structuring (Fiduscorp), securitisation, credit enhancement, and a license to establish hedge funds in Malta (Axionblue).
Christophe has a strong track record in securing and structuring capital:
- €100m partnership with Valtegra (Luxembourg hedge fund) for special situations in Europe.
- €60m equity line for a listed construction company.
- $200m term sheet for a renewable energy project.
- $100m funds for infrastructure in Mauritius and real estate in Spain.
In addition to financial advisory, he developed AI-Adoption programs to help companies turn new technologies into concrete performance gains, bridging strategy, data, and operations.
Christophe is trilingual (French, Spanish, English) and has lived and worked in France, Spain, the UK, Switzerland, the US, Chile, and Ireland. He holds an MBA from IESE Business School (Spain) (his exchange at the London Business School, UK) and an engineering degree from INSA de Lyon (France).
