Magnus Jern Joins Value Creation – Alternative (VC-A) as CTO to Implement AI Adoption

We’re pleased to announce that Magnus Jern has joined Value Creation – Alternative (VC-A) as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Magnus will own and oversee the technical execution of VC-A’s AI-Adoption Program—the 12-step framework we use to help organisations move from “AI curiosity” to real operational impact, with the right foundations in place (data, process, governance, security, and deployment).

What Magnus will lead as CTO

Magnus will be responsible for the program’s technical backbone, including:

  • AI architecture & delivery standards (from pilot to scale)

  • Use-case engineering: turning business problems into buildable, testable AI solutions

  • Data + integration readiness: APIs, databases, automation, and “what’s needed to ship”

  • LLM/GenAI implementation playbooks (guardrails, evaluation, and reliability in production)

  • Tooling and engineering enablement for client teams (so adoption becomes sustainable, not outsourced)

In short: Magnus ensures that strategy doesn’t remain theoretical—it becomes "shipped" capability.

Why Magnus, why now

AI adoption is no longer about experimenting with a chatbot. The differentiator is execution: clean interfaces, robust data flows, pragmatic deployment choices, and the ability to iterate quickly without breaking the business.

Magnus brings a strongly opinionated, builder’s perspective on what it really takes to deliver—spanning full-stack engineering, AI implementation, and high-velocity product development.

He is based in Andalucía, Spain, and is active in the AI engineering community, sharing practical takes on topics like AI-assisted development, no-code realities, and the operational gap between “AI world” and “real world.”

How this strengthens VC-A’s AI-Adoption Program

VC-A’s AI-Adoption Program is designed to help corporates and institutions embrace AI with structure and discipline, bridging culture, strategy, and execution.

With Magnus as CTO, we reinforce a key promise:

every step of the program is technically grounded, deployable, and measurable.

That includes the hard parts organisations struggle with:

  • moving from pilots to production,

  • avoiding fragmented tooling decisions,

  • building secure and maintainable systems,

  • and ensuring adoption translates into repeatable value.

Let’s talk

If you’re exploring:

  • an AI adoption roadmap for your organisation,

  • a set of priority use cases to deploy in 90–120 days,

  • or a technical strategy to scale GenAI safely,

VC-A and Magnus can help you structure it and deliver it.
